Disinfection & Basic Filtration Training

The course is specifically aimed at small stand-alone group water schemes, operating their own water treatment facilities.  As the overwhelming number of such schemes have simple treatment processes in place (relative to schemes with major filtration and/or full DAF treatment), this programme looks closely at the maintenance of basic filters, UV disinfection systems and chlorination units.

The course builds on the EPA disinfection manual.
